Aarhus Marina is full of life and activity. The marina of the city!
When you moor your boat here, you are in the front row. On sunny days the harbour is an attraction for happy locals and many of the city’s students.
At the entry to the harbour you see the new sail sports centre. This is where the Sailing World Championship 2018 took place.
Immediately east of the harbour, you will find the new exciting urban development called Aarhus Ø, where apartment buildings, student housing, offices, institutions and shops are shooting up along the newly built canals.
Aarhus Ø also offers sea bath (entry free) for swimming and the popular beach bar with a wide range of various take-away, cafes and restaurants.
On the west side of the harbour area, you will find the authentic harbour atmosphere with a variety of fishmongers, rowing clubs and the wooden ships harbour with its smell of tar and adventure.
Aarhus Marina is situated just 10-12 minutes from the Latin Quarter with its selection of restaurants, odd cafés, local pubs and atmosphere all of its own.
